Dear friends, we hereby invite you to the house "Sun and Moon". The house is situated in the heart of the most attractive part of Prague, being one of the most beautiful historical buildings of Castle quarter. It's located on the so called King's Road in the vicinity of the Prague Castle, facing forest park Petrin Hill and the orchards of Strahov Monastery. We are looking forward to your visit and we belive you would be plesantly surprised.

History

The present face of this house is baroque, but the house has been mentioned since 15th century. Many famous persons lived there at past times. For excemple at 17th century Kristian Luna, renowned architect and sculptor and at 19th century great singer Clementine Calas and her sisters-artists as-well. Famous czech photograph Josef Sudek lived there in the 20th century.

Accommodation

There are three apartments.Two separated attic apartments with a roof terrace and a beautiful view of Prague. Apartments are equipped with own WC, bathroom (shower/ bath), small kitchen with a fridge.The third similar apartment is located on the ground floor.Breakfast and other services -as wish of clients- are possible. Total privacy and calm in the historic centre of Prague.

Restaurants and bars

Our house is located near nigth life centre of Prague, therefore there are many good restaurants, cofeehouses, bars and music clubs. There is popular pub "U Zavěšeného kafe" with good Czech cuisine and friendly atmosphere or Japanese restaurant "Little Budha" in the street. Nearby, there is Strahov Monastery brewery with home made beer and tasty Czech cuisine.

How to get there

By car: direction "Centrum" then follow "Malá Strana", Malostranské squere to get to Nerudova street and Uvoz street - direction Prague Castle. By public transport: Metro Malostranská/line A/,tram 22,23 direction Prague Castle, station "Pohorelec"- it's closer- or station Prague Castle and by walk-through area of Prague Castle - it's longer way. You could also order our transport by car from and to the airport.
