Our guests can select from two room categories. The category "A" rooms have a balcony with a view over the spa colonnade. These very spacious rooms (over 30m2) are decorated with romantic, gold inlaid ceilings. For guests who prefer peace and quiet environment we would like to recommend category "B" rooms since their windows are situated on the opposite side. On the first floor, there is a Wellness Centre. You can use the massage salon (wide selection of various types of massages), beauty salon (mud wraps etc.), sun-bed and a hairdresser´s studio. On the third floor you will find kitchen for all hotel guests where you can lounge over a cup of coffee. Other hotel equipment: a breakfast room, a lift, a hotel safe deposit in the office, a rental of mountain-bikes and in-line skates and a shoe-cleaner. A dditional services: We prepare for all our guests rich self-service breakfasts. We provide hotel transport, there is an access to the Internet in the hotel office, it is possible to use office services (fax sending, copying etc) and to borrow a hairdrier, an iron etc. We accept majority of credit cards. An accommodation for your pets is free of charge. We provide spa care in the near sanatorium, you can use our accommodation packages, we will be pleased to recommend or to help you organize your free time. - Accommodation -Garni Hotel Kucera disposes of 16 double rooms with the possibility of an extra bed. We offer two accommodation categories.Category "A" rooms (6 in total) - very spacious rooms (30m2) with a balcony and a view over the spa colonnade - romantic, with gold inlaid Secession ceilings - recently reconstructed bathroom with a shower, WC, hair-drier etc. - TV (Czech, English, Geman and Russian channels), telephone, refridgerator Category "B" rooms (10 in total) - quiet rooms with windows situated on the peaceful side, in the direction from colonnade - bathroom with a shower, WC - TV (Czech, English, Geman and Russian channels), telephone, refridgerator - Rooms of this category differ in shape, therefore there isn´t any standard form (4 types in total).
-WELLNESS CENTRE-On the first floor of our hotel, there is a Wellness Centre which offers relaxation and beauty services for your peace and well-being. We would like to remind you that all Wellness services are included with discounts in our accommodation packages. Why not to pick one?You can choose from a wide selection of various types of massages in the massage salon: relaxation or health massage, massage agaist fatigue, sport massage, foot massage or you can try a lymphatic drainage or a complex of classic massages for the whole body (you can select from soft, medium and hard) Not only ladies are invited to our beauty salon which offers all cosmetics services, but also men will be surely interested in the antistress program including special massages of their neck, chest and head. The speciality of our cosmetics services are mud wraps (i.e. ANESI program which uses the mud from the sea-bed - for more information see the accommodation packages), cellulitis removal, hypodermic fat reduction and improvement of blood circulation. It is suitable to combine ANESI program with special massages for body shaping offered in our massage salon. We will take care of your hairstyle at our hairdresser´s studio (model haircuts, dyeing, hair streaks, perm, beard cutting and trimming, balsam head massage) and finally you can also spend some time in our sun-bed. -HOTEL SURROUNDINGS + FREE TIME-Karlovy Vary is a worldwide known spa resort founded in the 15th century by the Czech ruler Charles IV. According to a legend Charles IV was pursuing a deer while hunting with his company and the animal, driven onto a rock, jumped from the cliff onto the place of today´s colonnade. When the animal hit the ground it hollowed out with its hooves a spot where the first healing spring appeared. … The place of the fabled jump is reminded by a statue.The oldest spa colonnade of Karlovy Vary is only 50 m far from our hotel. You are permitted to drive a car in the spa zone, i.e. directly to Hotel Ku?era, only on the day of your arrival and departure. Therefore it is always better to take with you the printed booking confirmation from our hotel. As soon as you get your rooms, you can park in our car park, approx. 60m from the hotel. The fee is 150,- CZK per day. Although it isn´t a supervised car park, you don´t have to be worried about your car. The spa zone is guarded by private and police cameras. If you want to be sure, however, we recommend you a supervised car park in a near sanatorium (approx. 6 minutes walk from our hotel) for 150,- CZK per day, eventually the underground parking (10 minutes walk) for the fee 100,- per day. There are spa sanatoria very close to our hotel which offer a complete spa programme. You can let yourself be spoiled with underwater massages, mineral and whirlpool baths or with mud wraps, for example. We offer spa procedures in our accommodation packages, as well. You can have a swim in indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Especially the swimming pool in Thermal Sanatorium has a beautiful view over the spa zone of Karlovy Vary. FREE TIMEAn interesting idea for an afternoon trip could be Diana view-tower. You will get directly there by a cable-car, its bottom station is only 100m from our hotel. We would recommend you to undertake the journey back on foot. You will walk on a forest path and see statues and small monuments reminding the history of Karlovy Vary.There are also plenty of opportunities for sports activities. Very well-known and favourite are for example two golf courses situated on the outskirts of Karlovy Vary (Golf Club Karlovy Vary is in the direction of Prague, golf club Cihelny is at the main road to Pilsen). There is also a wide variety of indoor and outdoor tennis courts. We will be pleased to advise you where to play beach volleyball, squash etc. Bowling lanes are 10 minutes on foot from Ku?era Hotel. HIKING, CYCLINGAlthough Ku?era Hotel is situated in the very centre of Karlovy Vary, only few steps will lead you onto a forest path for hikers which runs through the protected landscape area Slavkovský les (Slavkov Forest). If you prefer cycling, we will lend you mountain bike and you can follow cycling paths to the romantic Svatošská skála (Svatos´ Rock) or to the castle Loket (10 km from Karlovy Vary). History fans shouldn´t miss the castle Be?ov (25 km) with its splendid shrine of St. Maurus.If you really want to see the whole town of Karlovy Vary and its surroundings at once, we recommend you to go for sightseeing flights. Karlovy Vary Airport is approx. 6 minutes by car from our hotel. If you prefer to stay on your feet, you can try a ride in a horse carriage. |
