- Closest to the city centre are districts of Prague 1, Prague 2, Prague 3, Prague 5 and Prague7. It should not take more than 20 minutes to reach historic city centre by public transport from any these districts.
- If you are looking for bargain accommodation, look further away from city centre. Prague is relatively small city with very efficient public transport. You can travel from one end of Prague to the other within one hour by public transport, which is why transfer tickets are valid for 60 minutes only (and 90 minutes during weekends).
