Q:How can I make a hotel reservation through ABAKA.COM?
You will find an "on-line booking form" on individual hotel pages. Through these on-line forms you can contact directly the reservation departments or reception of each individual hotel. This has a great advantage for individual travellers since you are bypassing the middleman - the travel agency - and making your booking directly with the hotel of your choice. At the same time you can enjoy special offers and savings negotiated with the hotels by ABAKA.com. You can use the booking form not only to request reservation but also to ask additional questions about services that might not be mentioned in the hotel information on the internet.

In case there are no rooms available for the period you required, they will offer you alternatives or recommend other hotels in the area. Q:Can I fill in multiple online booking forms?
Yes.
Q:Why don't you request credit card number on the online booking forms?
Well, for two main reasons. First reason is security. We would like you to give the credit card number directly to the hotel and not to ABAKA.com to pass on the to hotel. Second reason is that we don't want you to comit yourself to the reservation if you don't know exact availability of the rooms you requested and the final price of your booking.
Q:What if I need to cancel my reservation ?
Individual hotels have individual cancellation policies and we strongly advise to check with the hotel of your choice. Generally, if you cancel well in advance, there is no charge. If you cancel closer to your expected day of arrival, you may be charged for the first night.
Q:What if I was not happy with the hotel I booked through your database ?
In the unlikely event that your stay was not entirely satisfactory, we would like to know the details. Although the level of service you receive is not our responsibility, we welcome any comments regarding hotels listed in our database. Should serious problems be found, we may even consider removing the hotel from our database.
Q:Is it true that if I contact a hotel of my choice directly, the price will be lower ?
Absolutely not. You are welcome to try if you wish but you will find that our prices are always the same or lower (we have negotiated many special discounts) than those offered by the hotel itself.
Q:I filled in an on-line booking form, waited for two days and still no reply. What is happening ?
You would be surprised how many messages the hotels receive contain wrong e-mail addresses and replies are therefore undeliverable and keep coming back to the sender. If you have had no reply in two days, fill out another booking form and double-check that your e-mail address is filled out correctly.
Q:When will have to I pay for my accommmodation?
Generally, you will pay for your accommodation when you check out of the hotel. Only very few hotels will require advance payment by bank transfer or credit card. Most of the hotels will require an advance guarantee of you reservation by credit card.
Q:Which part of town is the best for accommodation?
There is no simple anwer to this question. Staying in the city centre (Prague 1,and Prague 2) will allow you to enjoy the best of the romantic and busy town. However, if you want to save money but still stay within minutes from city centre consider staying in Zizkov (Praha 3), Smichov (Praha 5), Holesovice (Praha 7), or Karlin (Praha 8). I you are on a tight budget choose a pension or hotel on the outskirts of town. Prague is relatively small town with exellent public transport, so that city centre is never more than 30 minutes away by metro, tram, or bus. See also our guide to major Prague districts
