JEROME TRAVEL V Jirchářích 13, 110 00 Prague 1 GENERAL CONDITIONS 1) BOOKING Jerome Travel will only accept bookings in written form ( fax, letter, e-mail) Booking should preferably be in English and must include the following information: - exact or alternative dates - name of the hotel ( in case no particular hotel is requested, hotel category or type must be stated as well as the price range and preferred location) - rooming list, number of clients - list of additional services required - contact numbers and addresses Having received your data, Jerome will reply within 48 hours at the latest by either confirming your booking or requiring further details or more time to process your requirements. Confirmation from Jerome will include the following information: - date and name of the hotel with indication of category - number of persons and room specification with prices - confirmation of services with prices All partners or clients of Jerome are obliged to reconfirm and return the confirmation of booking received from Jerome Travel 2) PRICES Prices of accommodation are net group rates and net individual (F.I.T.) rates. All the prices are stated in EUR and are based on tariffs and rates of exchange of August 2004 and are subject to change at the time of booking. Rates are subject to change without notice on confirmation. Any changes in the economic climate, fluctuations in exchange rates, process, official tariffs, charges and taxes may cause changes in the public rates. In such cases partners will be informed immediately. 3) PAYMENT CONDITIONS Immediately upon receiving the final confirmation of booking Jerome will issue a pro- forma invoice for 50% of the total price of all services requested The deposit must be paid by bank transfer not later than 35 days prior to the groups arrival.The partner will send the copy of bank order by fax on the day when the payment is made or 35 days prior to the clients arrival at the latest as evidence that the payment has been made. The total balance is to be paid by bank transfer a not later than 15 days prior to the clients arrival in order to reach the bank account of Jerome 10 days prior to arrival at the latest. The partner or client must send Jerome Travel a copy of the bankers order by fax on the day when the payment is made or at leastf 15 days prior to the clients arrival as evidence that the payment has been made. The total balance could also be paid by special agreement in cash, by credit card (VISA, VISA ELECTRON, EURO/MASTERCARD, MAESTRO) If the period between booking and clients arrival is less than 35 days, the invoice issued must be paid immediately. Services requested will be provided only in case the total amount of invoices has been paid. The final invoice is always sent by mail after the groups departure and is calculated in respect to the real number of pax that arrived. We should receive the amount net of all invoices.The partner/client is responsible for settlement of all the bank fees and additional charges. 4) RESPONSIBILITY In all travel arrangements Jerome acts as a travel agent for hotels, restaurants, and other contractors any may not be held in any way responsible for losses, damage, accident, delays, default or disruption of the tour by force major or other events beyond the control of Jerome Travel agents; this applies particularly to programmes and other schedules. 5) REFUNDS Refunds for services must either be claimed by the client in person immediately from Jerome or through the foreign partner travel agency that arranged the booking, in writing and within 14 days from the day on which the event occurred. Assessment and settlement of claims will be carried in accordance with the rates and procedures prevailing under Czech law. 6) CANCELATION CONDITIONS GROUPS: A group shall consist of a minimum of 15 people unless specified otherwise ( in some hotels 10 people are enough – stated for particular hotel or request) A partner or client has the right to withdraw from the confirmed booking free of charge but not later than 35 days before the day of arrival. When a partner or client withdraws from the confirmed booking later than 35 days prior to the day of arrival then Jerome will charge cancellation fees in respect to the term of cancellation. 35 days prior to arrival ……………………….. Free of charge 34 –21 days prior to the arrival …………...fee amounting to 30% of total price 20 – 15 days prior to the arrival……… .. fee amounting to 50% of total price 15 – 8 days prior to arrival ……………. fee. amounting to 80% of total price 7 or less days prior to arrival or not show ……. fee amounting to 100% of total price of all ordered services. Jerome allows up to 10% decrease in group size from the original number of people specified. In case there is a more than 10% change the relevant cancellation condition will apply, and cancelation fees will be claimed accordingly (fee charged only for persons over the allowed 10% decrease). This rule is not valid for group decrease on the arrival without prior written notice. INIVIDUALS: A partner or client has the right to withdraw from the confirmed booking free of charge but not later than 11 days before the day of arrival. 11 days prior to the arrival……………free of charge 10 – 1 day prior to arrival ………fee amounting to 80% of the first night price less than 1 day prior to arrival or not show …… fee amounting to 100% of total price Every hotel has its own cancellation conditions. Partner or clients will be informed about cancellation conditions of the particular hotel on the confirmation sheet. If not specified then above mentioned conditions shall apply. Cancellation must be done in written form and come into force on the day when it is received and reconfirmed by Jerome Travel. When services confirmed by Jerome Travel can not be provided for the reasons of Force Majeur, Jerome Travel will offer an alternative of the same or higher standard.
